Annual greeting card for the Year of the Horse. Inspired by Eadweard Muybridge’s The Horse in Motion, the project takes the form of a scanimation card that reveals moving typography through a striped overlay. Rather than illustrating the horse directly, the design focuses on motion itself. As the screen slides across the surface, fragmented letterforms gradually animate, turning the printed card into a small study of rhythm, movement, and perception.

Annual greeting card for the Year of the Snake. Centered around a custom hand-drawn lettering piece, the card embraces the snake as a symbol of movement, transformation, and quiet tension. The flowing strokes extend beyond readability into gesture, echoing the body of the snake itself while balancing elegance with unease. Printed with Spot UV coating on the lettering, the surface catches light subtly as the card moves, creating a shifting contrast against the matte background.
