Chinese title design and poster series created for the Taiwan release of White Plastic Sky (Müanyag égbolt), including both the theatrical release poster and a limited-edition poster. Directed by Hungarian filmmakers Tibor Bánóczki and Sarolta Szabó, the animated feature is set in a post-apocalyptic Budapest in 2123, where humanity survives beneath a massive dome and people must transform into trees at age fifty to sustain future generations.
The theatrical version centers on the intimate relationship between the protagonists, foregrounding the film’s emotional core beneath its dystopian setting. In contrast, the special-edition poster focuses on the monumental dome structure and the mechanized cycle of human transformation, amplifying the unsettling atmosphere of the artificial world. Referencing the typography used in the original titles, the Chinese logotype was designed to echo the film’s futuristic and technological tone while remaining visually aligned with the original identity.
